I apologize to my followers that actually check this thing! I do realize that I've been MIA for way to long. It has been a busy time for the Davies family, but I imagine I could have just updated this thing a little here and there along the way.
Well, my trip to Savannah was amazing! I spent a lot of time in the spa where I got a great massage, manicure and pedicure! We got to spend some time with some famous golfers (Sandy Lyle, Ben Crenshaw, Mark James and a few others) and we ventured over to the city a few times. Playing the golf course was an unforgettable experience that ended our weekend on a high note.
The next week, the boys and I met my parents in Pensacola and tried out their new camper! The boys had wonderful time riding their trikes around, playing in the ocean and visiting the aviation museum. I really couldn't believe how much they enjoyed the beach because last year they were not about it AT ALL. This time we had to drag them away kicking and screaming!
Anyway, April turned out to be a fun but busy month. In May I played in a golf tournament on May 15 and on Jason's birthday (May 19th), he and I headed down to New Orleans for the day. It was a really quick trip but we managed to fit a lot of touristy stuff in while we were there!
I will add pictures later. The boys are not being very cooperative as I try to write this : )

So, after a weekend of the The Masters, Easter and Uncle David's 44th birthday, I'm back. I guess I should back up and tell you that Friday, we got through 18 holes without a drop of rain! I had a great time. Jason was a little annoyed with his golf game but aren't we all!!! We have vowed to try to play more or at least make it to the range more in the coming summer months.
Ok, I'll start with The Masters. I'm just going to go ahead and say it. It's easily on my all time top ten best things I've EVER done! Yes, right up there with getting married and having babies. : ) The place is just out of this world beautiful and being that close to the top golfers in the world is just a really special thing. As a (wanna-be) golfer, I know how hard the game truly is and to see these guys make it look so easy is just so cool! Most of you know this, but I'm not a big fan of Tiger but I was lucky enough to have a front row spot on the 17th green when he birdied it. It was the weirdest thing, when he stepped up to the ball to putt, the entire place went COMPLETELY silent! I'm serious when I say, it sounded like the birds stopped chirping and the wind stopped blowing! You really could have heard a pin drop! As for my favorite part, of course it was seeing Rory. We followed him hole after hole which was really awesome because the television never shows that much of him. So, there I was three feet from him as he walked from the last green to the next tee box and I was able to actually talk to him and say "good job Rory" or "c'mon Rory" (and no I wasn't the only one..ha ha). How cool is that?? Good times : )
On Sunday, we made it down to my Mom and Dad's for Easter and my dear brother's birthday. We had all contributed and got him a push cart for his golf clubs. I've been walking the course the last few times I've played and really believe that it helps your game, as well as your wallet! I think he really liked it. After that we went outside for the boys to hunt eggs! Next year we will have to have more. They found them way too quickly! My Mom and sister cooked up a wonderful Easter lunch, so we pigged out on that and then had some birthday cake! At two o'clock The Masters, came on so we all sat around and sucked up the last bit before it was done for the year. So, now my vacation is coming to an end and it's back to work for me but only for this week! Next weekend, I will be going to Savannah for the Champion's Tour at the Westin and I will actually get to play the course when the tournament is over! This is a really sweet opportunity for me as I will be on the course playing it the day after Jack, Arnold, Chi Chi, Fuzzy and many others! That's all for now. I'll try to post as many pictures as I can!

Well, our week with me being home on vacation is moving right along. We will blink and things will be business as usual, I'm sure! I got really lucky yesterday because my sister-in-law (Chris) offered to let the kids hang out with her most of the day while I ran some errands and caught up with some of the housework. So, I made a much needed trip to BJs, got my emissions checked and came home and did laundry. Fun times : ). Today, we decided to play though. We met Chris, Mckenna and Julian up at DAC KIDS. I should say that this place has been affectionately nicknamed "The Jumpy Place" by Liam, so I'll refer to it as that from now on. We let them run around like maniacs for a little while, and then we had our lunch that we packed for them. It was surprisingly not over crowded this time, which was a relief. I'm not sure about their cousins but when we left there, Liam and Britton were so exhausted that they fell asleep in the car. When we got home, Britton declared that he "needed to go to bed"! This NEVER happens! If they are caught dozing in the car, they will usually pop up when I stop the car and try to pretend that they weren't asleep!
Anyway, we've had a nice evening and I am so looking forward to tomorrow. Jason is actually taking a day off to play golf with me!!!! Too bad it's supposed to rain...ha ha. He's already said that even if it does, I'll need to just go back to the clubhouse and wait on him. He says he never gets to play, therefore he'll be playing until the lightning starts! We'll see : ).
Then, for those of you that don't know, on Saturday, I will be attending my first Masters tournament. I probably won't even be able to sleep tomorrow night. I'm more than excited. I'm just hoping my favorite player makes the cut! I've been following this kid from N. Ireland (Rory McIlroy) for over year now and I'm really looking forward to seeing him in person. He actually came through the airport a couple of weeks ago, but it was Liam's birthday so I wasn't there. My boss did go and get his autograph for me on a Masters book which is ridiculously awesome and yes I know what you are thinking. She has people stalking this guy for her? He actually put in his BLOG, of all places when he was coming through, and Jason happen to notice so he passed along the info! I'll cut this short here before anyone starts thinking I'm crazy and I will catch back up with all of you after The Masters and probably Easter. Have a good weekend everybody!!

As you can see, today I have learned to post a picture. Pretty simple. I probably should have added some text to that post but like I said, I'm figuring this out!
Well, it's officially spring break around here. I've taken the week off and I'm pretty much just hanging out with the boys. I have a lot to do around the house and I'm getting absolutely NONE of it done : ) Last night, we went over to Nanny and Papa's house. Nanny made us a really awesome chicken pot pie. It was perfect comfort food for such a cold evening. Today, the boys and I went to eat pizza for lunch and then went to Dairy Queen for an ice cream. I mean, what other sort of treat would be appropriate for this 40 degree weather that we are having. While we were out and about we saw a bunch of snow flurries. Liam asked "Mommy, is it time for snow?". My answer of course was "no, but you never know in Georgia!". I'm just glad we aren't seeing a repeat of April 1992. Tonight, we are expecting a hard freeze. My cherry tree is blooming right now. I'm just hoping it's not affected. I will post some pictures of it. I also have a couple of new shots of Britton coloring yesterday. He looks so much older to me lately, but you can see for yourself! Until next time.....

So, I've decided to blog!!
Hey everyone! As you can see, I've decided to blog. I'm really not sure whether I'll be able to keep up with this thing, but I'm going to give it a try. Jason and I are so busy that a lot of times we don't get to call family and friends as much as we would like, so I'm hoping this will be a good way for everyone to keep up with us and our lives! Bare with me while I try to figure this thing out! : )
