So, after a weekend of the The Masters, Easter and Uncle David's 44th birthday, I'm back. I guess I should back up and tell you that Friday, we got through 18 holes without a drop of rain! I had a great time. Jason was a little annoyed with his golf game but aren't we all!!! We have vowed to try to play more or at least make it to the range more in the coming summer months.
Ok, I'll start with The Masters. I'm just going to go ahead and say it. It's easily on my all time top ten best things I've EVER done! Yes, right up there with getting married and having babies. : ) The place is just out of this world beautiful and being that close to the top golfers in the world is just a really special thing. As a (wanna-be) golfer, I know how hard the game truly is and to see these guys make it look so easy is just so cool! Most of you know this, but I'm not a big fan of Tiger but I was lucky enough to have a front row spot on the 17th green when he birdied it. It was the weirdest thing, when he stepped up to the ball to putt, the entire place went COMPLETELY silent! I'm serious when I say, it sounded like the birds stopped chirping and the wind stopped blowing! You really could have heard a pin drop! As for my favorite part, of course it was seeing Rory. We followed him hole after hole which was really awesome because the television never shows that much of him. So, there I was three feet from him as he walked from the last green to the next tee box and I was able to actually talk to him and say "good job Rory" or "c'mon Rory" (and no I wasn't the only one..ha ha). How cool is that?? Good times : )
On Sunday, we made it down to my Mom and Dad's for Easter and my dear brother's birthday. We had all contributed and got him a push cart for his golf clubs. I've been walking the course the last few times I've played and really believe that it helps your game, as well as your wallet! I think he really liked it. After that we went outside for the boys to hunt eggs! Next year we will have to have more. They found them way too quickly! My Mom and sister cooked up a wonderful Easter lunch, so we pigged out on that and then had some birthday cake! At two o'clock The Masters, came on so we all sat around and sucked up the last bit before it was done for the year. So, now my vacation is coming to an end and it's back to work for me but only for this week! Next weekend, I will be going to Savannah for the Champion's Tour at the Westin and I will actually get to play the course when the tournament is over! This is a really sweet opportunity for me as I will be on the course playing it the day after Jack, Arnold, Chi Chi, Fuzzy and many others! That's all for now. I'll try to post as many pictures as I can!

Being a non-golfer amongst a rather large group of golfing friends I can appreciate your excitement about attending the Masters, I will have to relate your experience to my friends when we get together with them next month. It sounds like you really made the most of your week off and got to enjoy Jennifer Time,Hubby Time and Family Time. I know that David enjoyed his gift and am glad you got to spend Easter and Birthday all together.I look forward to checking in on you guys soon and see whats going on....love the pictures, take care,Yvonne
